Fall 2024 Grant Recipients

FDCHSAF financially supports the academic needs of Columbine High School not funded by the school district to provide the greatest impact to the needs of students, teachers, and staff. We accomplish this by raising funds and distributing them through grant requests. The volunteer board consists of teachers, administrators, parents, and community members.

Fall 2024 Grant Recipients

September 2024 - $1,030, impacting 370 students in the first year

• $1,030 - Purchased 3 movable whiteboards for a science classroom and Autentico Digital coursework for Spanish classes, potentially impacting 370 students in the first year.

November 2024 - $4,135, impacting 900 students directly as well as the entire school community ongoing

• $1,550 - Gizmos Biology Simulations

• $555 - Spectrophotometer for classwork in Chemistry and Forensic Science

• $400 - Jana's Campaign education program

• $1,630 - Two additional media screens around the building to help communicate to students, parents, and visitors as well as provide real-world media and communications hands-on experience for classes developing media submissions
