FDCHSAF financially supports the academic needs of Columbine High School not funded by the school district to provide the greatest impact to the needs of students, teachers, and staff. We accomplish this by raising funds and distributing them through grant requests. The volunteer board consists of teachers, administrators, parents, and community members.
Spring 2025 Grant Recipients
The Frank DeAngelis Academic Foundation offered a series of PSAT/SAT preparatory course sessions, free of cost, to all CHS students 9th grade through 12th grade. These sessions (valued at $200) were conducted by Mr. Bobby Kenney.
The Frank DeAngelis Academic Foundation bought the school a replacement ceramic kiln after the old one died. There are approximately 144 students who take ceramics a year, but 245 students request the class. A kiln typically lasts 10 years, however the old one we are replacing is over 25 years old. The Foundation purchased a new kiln for the ceramics and art department for $7,250.
